Terengganu Silica has established a cutting-edge in-house Mineral Processing Laboratory that plays a crucial role in our extensive R&D and meticulously planned exploration efforts. The lab, equipped with advanced Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) and X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) technologies, supports our pioneering approach to green mining and the beneficiation of raw silica in Malaysia. Our lab’s capabilities extend throughout the beneficiation chain, from mineralogical analysis to waste management, offering a comprehensive range of silica beneficiation research services. This unique platform enables the optimization of processes at every stage of silica beneficiation.


In addition, our facility can rapidly scale up promising methods from bench-scale to pilot-scale testing—an exceptional capability that sets us apart on a global scale. PQ9000 ICP-OES
TSC upholds a commitment to excellence in every product we offer. We’ve implemented robust quality control procedures to monitor the chemical composition of our product, using the PQ9000 Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES). The PQ9000 is a valuable tool known for its high sensitivity, precision, and efficiency in characterizing the elemental composition.

S8 Tiger XRF Wavelength Dispersive (WDX) Spectrometer
In addition to ICP-OES, the TSC lab also equipped with the S8 Tiger XRF Analyzer, serving as a primary tool for daily chemical composition analysis in our quality control endeavours. These steadfast instruments are integral to our laboratory operations, ensuring accuracy and reliability, thereby establishing new standards of excellence within the industry. The S8 Tiger excels in precision, providing consistent and dependable results in determining the elemental composition of samples with every analysis.

Particle Size Analysis (PSA)
Ultimately quality control at the production line is meticulously aligned with our laboratory’s capabilities to guarantee that every manufactured product meets the established specifications. Our quality control processes are rigorously conducted and analysed using reliable instruments crafted to meet industry standards for precision, reliability, and efficiency for a trustworthy analysis for our products.

At TSC, we provide Certificate of Analysis (COA) to all of our samples as an accompanied document which provides detailed information about the quality of a particular product. The COA may include analyses for purity, particle size analysis, heavy metals, and other contaminants, depending on the type of product.
