The Terengganu Silica Port is situated along the shorelines at Bukit Bari in the Mukim of Chalok, Setiu District, Terengganu. The port is an exposed open sea port (South China Sea) which has a natural depth of 11m draft and is just 3km away from the Terengganu Silica processing plant.

Terengganu Silica Port Consists of Bulk Handling System and Pipe Conveyor
Our port is a dedicated Private Port mainly for handling Silica Products supported with specially designed 3800 metres in length of fully covered pipe conveyor with hopper and ship loader system to minimise contamination during loading. The Pipeline Conveyor is suitably engineered to resist abrasion from solids and offer an economic and environmental advantage compared to other transportation system:

- No dust during transportation
- Occupies small space
- Minimum maintenance
Pipe conveyor system details:
- Production rate per month: 45,000MT
- Conveyor Type: EP Belt
- Conveyor Length: < 3800m
- Loading Period: 10 months in a year.
- Loading capacity per hour: 800MT
- No. of days: 4-5 days per month / per line for 37,000MT vessel loading.
- Movement: 1500 mm EP Belt Conveyor system with Tandem Drive Motors
- Safety Features: Automatic flow cut out system for conveyor in the event of unforeseen situation such as leakage etc.
The Port will be utilized to load bulk shipment (2,000MT to 35,000MT), mainly Terengganu silica products via bulk carriers or barges for domestic and overseas buyers.
